Will Angelina Jolie become Mrs. Pitt this weekend?

The word on the street is that we’ll soon be hearing wedding bells for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. How soon will we be hearing them? It could be as soon as tomorrow. Everyone’s buzzing that the couple plans to wed at George Clooney’s Lake Como villa in Italy or at the nearby hotel, Villa d'Este this weekend.

Curiously, Villa d’Este employees were not as closed-mouthed as you think they would be if they were preparing for an A-list wedding. Though a hotel spokeswoman said, "We don't have any bookings under their or their agents' names,� she was quick to add that this was “maybe because it will be an intimate celebration. In any case,� she continued, “we're ready to stage a wedding ceremony.�

Some suspect the town might have cooked up the rumors to increase tourism to the area. Supporting the claim was the fact that Clooney’s janitor said he had no knowledge of a wedding taking place and that the home’s owner was not in town. Clooney’s rep issued a non-denial denial on Thursday: "Rumors are rumors." Pitt’s rep, meanwhile, did not comment on the gossip.
