Trump the chump

Those who caught Donald Trump and his 24-year-old daughter Ivanka on “The View�? on Monday may have been a bit shocked at what they heard. The Trumps visited the show to promote Ivanka’s appearances on “The Apprentice�? - she’ll be in five episodes - but Donald ended up promoting his daughter’s enviable body instead.

In response to the question of how he would react to Ivanka posing for Playboy, Donald said, “It would be really disappointing - not really - but it would depend on what's inside the magazine. I don't think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I've said if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."

While the audience laughed and “View�? co-host Joy Behar responded with a playful, "Who are you, Woody Allen," some viewers were disturbed by the statement.

In reaction to the public disapproval, Trump’s spokesman issued a statement. "[Mr. Trump] was making fun of himself for his tendency to date younger women. It's a sense of humor that people don't see [from him] all the time." If that’s his sense of humor, it’s lucky for the Donald that the public doesn’t see it very often. Otherwise we’d all be calling him chump instead of Trump.
