When George Clooney and Teri Hatcher were spotted out together earlier this year, tongues started wagging. The pair were very dismissive of the rumors that they were dating, though and chalked their outing up to being neighbors. And while they may be neighbors, sources claim that their relationship is more than just friendly.

Clooney and Hatcher have known each other for years and met while they both worked on the Warner Bros. lot. An insider told Star magazine, "They eyed each other from afar then, but neither was available until now…Now they can't stay away - it's intense." "It's all about the passion right now,� another source agrees.

Don’t expect these two to fess up to their relationship any time soon. They have their reasons for keeping things a secret right now. "Teri's careful to keep it from her co-stars, because there tends to be jealousy. And George says he doesn't want the press prying into his personal life," one of Star’s sources says. And there will be no more public dates either. Because of the attention their first date made, “now they order in food," says a friend. "George won't even take Teri to the Academy Awards. She's going to watch at home."
