Note to Nick and Kristin: Fess up!

All the speculation about whether or not Kristin Cavalleri and Nick Lachey are dating is kind of making me sick. I mean, why should I even care about these two reality show stars? But clearly, for some reason I do care. Not about Nick or Kristin, but about the fact that they’re tying to hide their relationship. It’s just a little too B-list Brad and Angelina for me.

Here’s what I mean. B & A were so clearly together from the moment they laid eyes on each other and yet they denied and denied and denied right up until Brad was ready to adopt Angelina’s children. Friends just don’t go to Africa and frolic on the beach like a little family together. We all knew they were an item. What’s the harm in fessing up? I think they made the public more upset by pretending than they would have been if we just thought Brad had betrayed Jennifer. They made this gal more upset anyway.

So why can’t Kristin and Nick learn a thing or two from their more fame-worthy predecessors? I just don’t buy that they just happened to run into each other like a zillion times in one week. They’re clearly going at it. Kristin even confessed a hot make-out session with Nick to a friend. (And Kristin, since your friend told Star, I think you should kick her out of your inner circle. Seriously.) Anyway, these two are not getting any more famous. Their fifteen minutes were up about 10 minutes ago. I say stop issuing denials and milk your May-December relationship for all its worth. You really shouldn’t let Jessica get all the ink, Nick.
