The stars of R&B group Destiny's Child have been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Lead singer Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were reunited for the ceremony in Hollywood following the group's split last year reports BBC news.
"We started when we were 9 years old, and here we are getting a Hollywood star," said 24-year-old Knowles.
"Dreams come true. So thank you all so much for supporting us." The group's hits include Say My Name and Survivor.
Although Destiny's Child have called it a day, they are releasing a concert
DVD 'Live In Atlanta' - recorded at Atlanta's Phillips Arena, from their
2005 farewell 'Lovin' It' tour - and are all pursuing solo projects.
Beyoncé is set to star in new movie 'Dreamgirls', alongside Eddie Murphy and
Jamie Foxx, which will be hitting screens by Christmas. Speaking of Beyonce, rumor has it that Miss Beyonce has delayed shooting on her new film by getting things stuck
in her hair.
The beautiful star - who is currently filming 'Dreamgirls', a movie set in
the 60s about a trio of female Motown singers - keeps getting her costume
stuck in her wigs.
An insider told website The Scoop: "During a dance routine, a fake nail kept
getting caught in it.
Michelle is due to sing 'America The Beautiful' at upcoming wrestling
extravaganza WWE Wrestlemania on April 2, in her hometown of Chicago, while
Kelly's second solo album will be released later this year.
"I want to thank you all for coming out here in this rain. We are humbled to be here," said Rowland, who founded the group with Knowles in Houston, Texas in 1991.
