Tom Cruise hopes Katie Holmes will quit acting

So much for Katie Holmes’s “stellar? acting career. Her fiancé - and the father of her unborn child - Tom Cruise is reportedly trying to get her to quit the business and become a full-time mom. According to a story in Life & Style magazine, Cruise’s decision comes as a reaction to his previous marriage to Nicole Kidman. Nicole continued to work after they adopted their children, Connor and Isabella.
A source for the weekly tabloid claims Cruise said, “[Katie's] life from now on [is] going to be about being a mother. I’m not giving her the chance to turn into another Nicole. I’ve got Katie tucked away, so no one will get to us until my child is born — and until I want them to.?
Cruise may have Katie “tucked away,? but the actress has still found time to emerge for coffee breaks (something that many doctors claim is harmful to fetuses). Still the coffee outings make perfect photo ops for Katie’s rounding belly. And if there’s one thing Tom loves, it’s a photo op. One thing’s for sure: if Katie does become a stay at home mom after the baby is born, she’ll certainly still be visible when it benefits Tom’s career.
