The last couple of months have been tough for Sheryl Crow. The Grammy award winning musician split with her boyfriend of two years, bicyclist Lance Armstrong and cancelled their wedding plans. And on top of the break up, she’s been dealing with a diagnosis of breast cancer.
On Friday, Sheryl announced that she had undergone surgery for the condition two days earlier and was on the road to what her doctors believe will be full recovery. According to a statement Crow posted on her website, the surgery was "minimally invasive" and she will soon be going under precautionary radiation therapy.
"I am inspired by the brave women who have faced this battle before me and grateful for the support of family and friends," she said.
Lance, who is a testicular cancer survivor, issued his own statement on Friday, telling the public: "Once again I'm reminded of just how pervasive this illness is, as it has now touched someone I love deeply."
Crow had planned to tour this spring, but announced that she will have to reschedule those dates.

Breast cancer is curable though not a pleasant thing to deal with. I wish her good luck and health cause I really like her.
