Jennifer insists she needs to move on with her life because she doesn't want
to be known only for her high-profile relationship with Pitt, who is now
expecting his first child with new love Angelina Jolie.
She added: "Look, I'm not defined by this relationship. I wasn't when I was
in it, and I don't want to be in the aftermath of it. And that's really
important to me."
The sexy star also revealed she wanted to show other women they can cope
with divorce - and prove you can get over it without becoming an emotional
wreck.
She told GQ magazine: "There are so many women who are crippled by divorce.
"I felt like there was a little part of it that I could put out there that
was not about airing my dirty laundry but was sort of saying that you can
get through something like this and be as happy, if not happier, again."
