Denise Richards moves forward with divorce from Charlie Sheen

Actor Charlie Sheen is a Hot Shot no more. In fact he’s probably looking quite red in the face now that divorce proceedings from wife Denise Richards are moving along.

Richards initially filed divorce papers last March while six months pregnant with her second child with Sheen. After giving birth to baby Lola, however, Denise seemed to have patched things up with Charlie and was spotted in affectionate displays with him. On a “Late Late Show� appearance in November, Sheen wore his wedding ring and said “things are really good.�

But somewhere between November and January, the couple’s reconciliation went sour. On Wednesday, Richards’s publicist confirmed that she is "moving forward with divorce proceedings." Sheen’s publicist added, "They asked the court to go to a private arbitrator. They want to keep it private," he said.

Back in September, Sheen confessed to David Letterman that he believed he was at fault for his marital problems, though he denied ever cheating on Richards. "I think the one thing I would point to as a primary reason, basically, is that I was a gigantic ass…It's the first time I got dumped in my life,� he said.
