A ban on older fans seeing the Rolling Stones perform at the Super Bowl has been lifted.
Planners had originally sought people ages 18 to 45 to take the field and dance at Ford Field on Feb. 5 - an age cap that would make even the Stones too old for the action reports CBS news
The youngest member of the veteran rock performers is 58, while the band has a combined age of 246.
US National Football League (NFL) spokesman Brian McCarthy said: "We wanted to open it up."

The 2,000 audience members for the event in Detroit will be required to enter and exit the field of play quickly. There will be no seating and participants will be on their feet for long periods of time reports BBC
They are expected to wait in a tunnel for much of the first half of the game. The halftime show's on-site audience will be expected to dance, sing and cheer. The league is also seeking people to dance during Motown star Stevie Wonder's pre-game performance.
The NFL said it would be a "once-in-a-lifetime chance" to experience the prestigious US event "from a totally unique perspective".
People are asked to apply in groups of 20 or more. Signup is under way on the Web site of Star Flow Entertainment.
