Foxy Brown

In her song “Run Yo Shit,�? Foxy Brown sings “I push niggas, watch me just mush these faggots/If I keep it gangsta, it’s gon’ make us all ritch.�? That is basically George W. Bush’s philosophy, with the phrasing somewhat more polished.

But Foxy, née Inga Marchand, can not get a proper hearing these days, because her hearing has been affected, perhaps by her lovely music. Back in August, 2004, Foxy went for a manicure at the Bloomie Nails salon in Manhattan’s Chelsea. She allegedly assaulted two Bloomie cosmeticians in a fight over payment. Prosecutors claim that with a cell clutched in her closed fist, she hit one cosmetician in the face and attacked and kicked another.

Foxy denies everything. To paraphrase her song lyrics, she thinks “them bad-ass mo’ fuggers wan’ my fuckin’ bucks.�? Yet she needs an operation to correct her hearing, so her case is on hold.
