Robbie Williams wins 'gay' libel fight |

Robbie Williams has won damages after three publications claimed he was
secretly gay.
The pop heartthrob has accepted substantial libel damages after Britain's
The People newspaper and Star and Hotstars magazines claimed he had sex with
other men.
In 2004 all three publications ran stories claiming the star had engaged in
casual homosexual sex.
The People said Robbie was about to deceive the public by publishing his
biography, 'Feel', which only mentioned him having sex with women.
It reportedly alleged the singer had "enticed" a stranger into a club toilet
to indulge in a sex act.
Star and Hot Stars magazines made similar allegations, also claiming Robbie
had secret homosexual encounters.
As the star won his case his lawyer insisted he "is not, and has never been
homosexual".
The publishers accepted the claims were false and agreed to pay damages and
legal costs.
Robbie - who has been linked to a string of beautiful women, including
actress Nicole Kidman and model Rachel Hunter - did not attend the hearing
at London's High Court.
