Mary-Kate dishes on Stavros and Paris

In the latest issue of W magazine, Mary-Kate Olsen abandons her sister Ashley and does her first ever solo interview and cover shoot. The interview allows an inside look at Mary-Kate’s latest endeavors and addresses why she took a leave of absense from NYU this fall. When asked directly for the reason behind her departure, MK says, "I think we can all guess," alluding to her recent break-up with Grek shipping heir, Stavros Niarchos. But as gossip insiders know, her split from Stavros was complicated due to another woman, Paris Hilton.

Paris is rumored to have stolen Niarchos away from Mary-Kate and Mary-Kate doesn’t disagree with that version of the story. “[Paris and I] always only had nice things to say about each other. Now I guess you can tell we're not talking. I miss [Stavros] and I love him and I don't speak with him anymore. It's a hurtful and painful subject," she tells W.

Olsen's best friend, Hayden Slater, elaborates on the situation by saying, "She's really hurt…She likes to keep on the down-low and just hide out, and it's obviously really hard, especially with everything going on recently. She needed to get away from New York." To read the whole story, click here.
