Lindsay Lohan will be the new face of Chanel

Since Moss’s contract with the Paris fashion house was not renewed after she was caught doing cocaine in September, Chanel was looking for a new woman to be the face of the iconic brand. Lohan was chosen and will star in the label’s next ad campaign.

According to Contact Music, Lohan has already done a photoshoot with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. She said, "I'm shooting with Karl Lagerfeld! It's amazing. I'm so excited. I think it's for a magazine."

Meanwhile, Lohan's redheaded predecessor Julia Roberts has signed on to be a spokesmodel for Gianfranco Ferre's new promotional campaign. Ferre explained why he chose Roberts as his muse to Fashion Wire Daily: "In the now so multifaceted realm of glamour and allure, both as a woman and as a personality Julia Roberts in my eyes reflects a total affinity with this ideal of mine. What enchants me most are her presence and manner, her way of being energetic and calm at the same time and her naturally aristocratic self-possession.
