Jessica Simpson moving on without Nick

If Jessica Simpson is having trouble moving on after splitting with husband, Nick Lachey she sure isn’t showing it. Jessica has been on a real estate shopping spree over the last few weeks, purchasing a home in Beverly Hills and looking at apartments in NYC.

According to People magazine, Simpson has already moved into her new $3 million Los Angeles home. A source close to the singer told the magazine, "She's happy to have a house that's hers. This is the first time she's making her own decisions." And she may soon make the decision to purchase a New York apartment, says Page Six. The gossip column claims she looked at a “$5 million duplex, with a private conservatory and heated floors, at the Altair building,�? in Chelsea. "She wants to start fresh, and she loves New York - it's always been good to her," another friend told Page Six.
