Is Paris Hilton bulimic?

Paris Hilton has always had the sort of figure women envy. Tall and slim, Hilton can pull off just about any outfit, be it discount or couture. The occasional model doesn’t even seem to care what she eats and is often spotted visiting fast food restaurants. Unfortunately, some insiders say good genes aren’t behind Paris trim physique. According to sources for Australian gossip magazine, NW, Hilton’s friends believe she is “suffering from bulimia�? and has been “for some time.�? One of Paris’s confidants told NW, “We think she’s had a longstanding battle with the disease and she’s been able to keep it pretty well hidden for years. But she’s stepped it up recently. All the typical symptoms are there - dramatically fluctuating weight, frequent trips to the toilet after meals and a love/hate relationship with food.�?

Pals of Hilton’s blame her particularly hectic year for her worsening condition. This year the heiress has faced a number of high profile problems, including losing her best friend, Nicole Richie, and calling off her engagement to Greek shipping heir, Paris Latsis. Paris also faced criticism when she started dating Mary-Kate Olsen’s ex, Stavros Niarchos. Many believed that Hilton had stolen Niarchos from Olsen.

Ironically, it’s Olsen who Hilton’s friends now claim she resembles. Said a pal, “Paris looks like Mary-Kate…just before she went into rehab. Her parents are desperate to get her into a clinic.�? Guess Stavros doesn’t like his ladies to have any junk in the trunk.
