Crowe congratulates and warns Kidman

Aussie actors and actresses tend to stick together. Through their shared background they form bonds and support each other as they try to successfully maneuver through harsh Hollywood. In the case of pals and compatriots, Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, they wish also one another luck in love.

Crow recently congratulated Kidman on her new romance with country star, Keith Urban. Though Nicole and Keith have yet to officially admit to being attached, it is clear that they are enjoying those exciting early moments of a relationship. Nicole’s parents even spent Thanksgiving with Keith and Nicole in Nashville and the couple is now rumored to be engaged.

When asked about Nicole’s new beau by British newspaper, the Sun, Crowe said, "I've spoken to Nicole a couple of times recently and it was clear she's enjoying great happiness right now. Hanging out with Keith is giving her a lot of joy and I'm happy for her.�?

Crowe did issue a warning to Kidman, however. The reclusive actor said, “A relationship under that microscope doesn't get the chance to evolve. It happened to me some years back. My summer was ruined as we were never left alone." Russell is referring to his high profile romance with actress Meg Ryan. Exhaustive media coverage of their relationship is said to have caused the failure of their film together, Proof of Life. Good thing Nicole and Keith are only co-stars in life and not on screen.
