Ashley Olsen lacks fashion knowledge

Since graduating high school, the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, have become fashion icons for their creative “bag lady� look. The twins, particularly Ashley, are often seen at fashion industry events and like to talk about their favorite designers in interviews. But do these girls have the knowledge to back up their image? According to Page Six, Ashley doesn’t.

Recently, the blonde Olsen was scheduled to attend a show at the Chanel flagship store in New York, but was running terribly late. Though the folks at Chanel held up the show for as long as possible, Ashley was still too late to catch the beginning and had to view from backstage. Not having the time to be prepped, Ashley didn’t know who Karl Lagerfeld was when the famous designer tried to talk with her. A source for the gossip column said that when Karl attempted to speak to Ashley, "she cringed away from him like he was a stalker. Her person had to tell her who he was, but he had already whispered something nasty in French about her and was very mad." Once Ashley realized her mistake it was too late; Lagerfeld would not speak to her.
