Joaquin a litle crazy? |

It looks like Joaquin Phoenix is walking the line between aloof and insane. The actor has been behaving bizarrely and throwing miniature hissy fits while doing press for his new film, the Johnny Cash biopic, Walk the Line. Phoenix, who recently did a stint in rehab, is not reacting well to the obligations that go along with starring in a big movie. According to Page Six, he has dropped out of a few interviews claiming that he "can't do this any more." Those present at the interviews report that Joaquin "looked like he was having a breakdown." His co-star, Reese Witherspoon, however, was more professional and "sat through everything even though she had a case of sinusitis." At the movie's LA premiere last Friday, Joaquin was acting wacko, asking one reporter, "Do I have a large frog in my hair? . . . Something's crawling out of my scalp."
The reporter told Phoenix that all was well, but the actor persisted. "I'm not worried about the looks. I'm worried about the sensation of my brain being eaten." Joaquin's rep, of course, denies that there is a problem. "He has been working like crazy. He has never done this much press," she says.
