The Simple Life: Till Death Do Us Part

Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie
The fourth season of the reality show Simple Life , titled The Simple Life: Till Death Do Us Part,, will air on E! next spring, the cable network announced Monday.

"We are thrilled to welcome Paris, Nicole and The Simple Life to E!," said Ted Harbert, the network's president & CEO. "The addition of this huge comedy hit to our schedule will continue to distinguish E! as the leader in entertainment, celebrity and pop culture television."

The viability of the series was called into question after FOX announced in October that it "did not see a place" for the show - while the rift between Hilton and Richie escalated reports People Magazine. In April, PEOPLE reported that their fued had escalated into an all-out war. "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends," Hilton said in a statement at the time. "Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I'm ever going to say about it."

"Life" will reunite its stars, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, for 10 new episodes to kick off in spring 2006. E! will also acquire syndicated rights to all 36 past episodes of "Life," which will begin running in January reports Hollywood Reporter.

The new season's format will plug Hilton and Richie into the role of the married homemaker, with each "socialite" competing to see who can best balance tasks like cleaning and child-rearing.

"Simple" ran on Fox for three seasons beginning in December 2003.
