Former 'Desperate Housewives' star Page Kennedy has denied he was fired from
the hit show for flashing.
The 28-year-old actor, who played mysterious Caleb in the second series of
the popular programme, was sacked for "improper conduct" earlier this month
for allegedly having a "problem with flashing people on the set".
Kennedy has now hit back at the claims branding them "crushing and
"damaging" and insists he was axed from the show because the studio wanted
to do something with his character.
He said: "There are a lot of stories that have been told, but the truth of
the matter is that Touchstone decided to go in a different direction and
they bought out my contract. The rumours are crushing and damaging to my
career."
Bosses have already replaced Kennedy's character with a different actor.
Newcomer Nashawn Kearse - who has previously appeared in small roles on TV's
'Entourage', 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' and 'Deadline' - will take over
as Caleb, the mysterious character being hidden in Betty Applewhite's
basement.
