Lindsay and the Beanstalk

First wagging tongues said that after being in three car crashes in fourteen months, Lindsay Lohan had to spend all her time with insurance adjusters so couldn't give much thought to her career. Now that she's set to star in a movie with boyfriend Jared Leto, those tongues are wagging again, saying that the film is just a publicity stunt for the relationship.

Hard though it might be to believe, the gossip industry does sometimes outdo Hollywood films, particularly when a film goes straight from its box-office disaster to video rental, where nobody rents it. Will this new film be to Lindsay and Jared what "Gigli" was to Ben and J.Lo? What if it's so bad that even gossips won't stoop to talk about it?

Titled "Chapter 27," the movie will treat of the assassination of John Lennon. Jared will portray the crazed murderer. Our sources weren't clear on whether Lindsay will be playing Yoko Ono. (By Scott Rose)
