Klein opens up about Holmes |

Though he broke up with Katie Holmes only a few weeks before she went public with Tom Cruise, Chris Klein doesn't blame Tom for the end of their relationship. Klein, best known for his role in the American Pie movies, and Holmes dated for five years and were engaged for two. Their split last spring occurred after months of break-up speculation. Klein spoke with Access Hollywood in an interview that aired Monday. He said, "[Katie] being with Tom has nothing to do with her and I discontinuing our relationship. People move forward, people move on, it's what we do." Chris is currently doing press for his new film, Just Friends, his first role in a mainstream film in two years. When asked about Katie's conversion to Scientology, Klein said, "I hope that she's making decisions that are making her happy and that she doesn't have people in her life leading her astray from what she wants and what she believes."
