When Katie Holmes began dating Tom Cruise in the spring, many questioned her sanity. It turns out, however, that when it comes to men, the actress was suffering from lapses in judgment long before she met Cruise. Before Tom, Katie was engaged to Chris Klein, who she dated for 5 years. The couple always seemed reserved and polite, but there was a lot more bubbling under the surface - if Klein's a recent interview with Elle magazine is any indication. In the interview, Chris said he only dates women who are "8 to 10's" and if they gain any weight when they're with him, he's "not tolerant of that at all...When a woman isn't feeling good about herself and you combine that with her period, eventually she'll ask you if you like her body. You have to say no...I don't placate," he says. He also claims that he doesn't cook for his dates: "At the end of the day, she's cooking the food."
