Leo seeks consolement from Paris |

Earlier this week, the New York Post's Page Six broke the story that Leonardo DiCaprio and his longterm girlfriend, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, had split. Since these two celebrities are notoriously publicity-shy, it's unlikely that the public will ever get an official statement or any explanation as to why they parted ways. Word around the rumor mill is that Leonardo had gotten close to another leggy blonde, Sienna Miller. But as Miller seems to only have eyes for her ex-fiance, Jude Law, she may be the reason Gisele and Leo broke-up, but she's probably not the reason they won't get back together. The real culprit is far more sinister: Paris Hilton. Hilton, who allegedly dated DiCaprio in the past, has been offering him consolation since Gisele left him. At the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Paris and Leonardo were "deep in conversation," according to a source for Britain's Daily Star. "Leo looked like he was in his element chatting away to Paris," the witness said. While moving from Gisele to Paris would definitely be a step down for DiCaprio, it would be a big step up for Paris. She's been dating greasy sometimes-model Stavros Niarchos, a playboy who used to see Mary-Kate Olsen. Bundchen, in the meantime, has been quietly dating surfer Kelly Slater.
