According to Nielsen SoundScan, R&B trio Destiny's Child's sold a modest 113,000 copies of its Sony Urban Music/Columbia's "#1's" in the week ended October 30 reports Reuters
Though not every song has topped a Billboard chart, the new 16-track collection does include four Hot 100 No. 1s: "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Say My Name," "Independent Women Part 1" and "Bootylicious."
Previous champ Ashlee Simpson tumbled to No. 6 as her sophomore effort "I Am Me" (Geffen) sold 73,000 copies in its second week.
Canadian rock band Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons" got a two-slot bump to No. 2 with 102,000 copies, while Martina McBride held steady at No. 3 as "Timeless" (RCA) sold 92,000 copies. That album also logs a second week at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.
Rod Stewart's "Thanks for the Memory... The Great American Songbook Vol. IV" (J Records) dropped two places to No. 4 with 91,000 copies. The Black Eyed Peas' "Monkey Business" (A&M/Interscope) rose three to No. 5 with 80,000 copies. Simpson's
