Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have denied that they are married, after the news was confirmed by a spokesperson for the actor.
Rumours have been rife that Pitt and his new girlfriend, actress Angelina Jolie, married in a secret Buddhist ceremony.
Brad Pitt's publicist has vehemently denied he has married Angelina Jolie in
secret.
News of the alleged nuptials came just weeks after Brad finalised his
divorce from 'Friends' beauty Jennifer Aniston.
A source close to the couple allegedly revealed to Britain's Star magazine:
"Brad and Angelina wanted to make a commitment to each other as soon as
possible, and arranged a private ceremony to seal their love to one another.
They exchanged vows in front of Angelina's children Zahara and Maddox."
Reports also claimed, although the Buddhist ritual was not legally binding
in the US, the pair were classing each other as husband and wife and were
planning to legally marry in the States.
The source was quoted as saying: "It isn't legally binding but in their eyes
they are married and that's it."
But Brad's spokeswoman, Cindy Guagenti, branded the story "completely not
true"
She states: "They've used a wedding picture from (movie) Mr and Mrs Smith and run with this story on the front page. There's simply no truth to this whatsoever."
The Daily Star reported the actor is wearing a gold band on his wedding finger since the alleged ceremony and the pair plan to go public as a couple once a legal ceremony has taken place.
