Rolling Stones Concert Interrupted |

The Rolling Stones' concert at the University of Virginia was interrupted Thursday night while several police officers and three bomb-sniffing dogs searched the stage reports ABC news. Eight songs into the concert, Stones frontman Mick Jagger announced that the band had been told by authorities to take a 10-minute break. The school's Scott Stadium was packed with nearly 50,000 fans at the time. Police cleared the first 20 rows of the audience while their dogs sniffed around the stage, according to The Associated Press.
The threat came in a little after 9 p.m. and was "specific to the stage area," university spokesperson Carol Wood said reports MTVnews.
The show resumed after about a half-hour intermission. The threat is under investigation by university, local and state police. The Rolling Stones are touring North America to promote their latest album, "A Bigger Bang
