Actor Justin Timberlake, came to the defense of his former girlfriend, Britney Spears, Monday, when he criticized the person responsible for putting unauthorized photographs of Spears and her infant son, Sean Preston Federline, on the Internet last week.
"When a person like her, who's obviously a sweet person, is having their first child, it's like, 'leave the girl alone,"' Timberlake told "Access Hollywood" in an interview which aired Monday.
"I do think that's crossing the line," the 24-year-old singer said. "That's her baby and those are her baby pictures."
Timberlake is urging fans of his ex Britney Spears to be patient for photographs of her baby son Sean Preston.
Photos of Spears, her husband, Kevin Federline, and the couple's infant son were published online Friday.
The pop princess has warned that their publication would be considered an invasion of her family's privacy.
"Anyone who publishes, sells or otherwise exploits any of these images in any way will be subject to liability and damages for willful infringement of copyright," said a press release by Jive.
The news of the reportedly stolen photos came on the heels of a New York Post report that had Spears, 23, backing out of a deal to sell her baby's photos to People magazine.
Spears' baby, who was born Sept. 14, hasn't been seen in public, nor has his name been announced, though reports say it is Sean Preston Federline reports MSNBC
