Nonetheless, Ms. O'Connor's extra-curricular activities will look good on her resume. A published writer with "Lazy B: Growing Up on a Cattle Ranch in the American Southwest" to her credit, she is now set to promote her latest children's book, "Chico." Though it is published by Penguin, it is about her horse Chico and an encounter with a rattlesnake. The way reactionaries are screaming for books to be pulled from library shelves these days, Sandy better hope nobody reads a sexual interpretation into that rattlesnake.
