Cosmetic giant Rimmel has welcomed a public apology from Kate Moss over allegations of cocaine abuse reports Scotsman
Last week, British tabloid, Daily Mirror published pictures of the supermodel snorting cocaine with her boyfriend, rocker Pete Doherty, at a recording studio.
Although Moss's relationship with the make-up firm still hangs in the balance, the company said the apology was a positive step. It said: "In light of this statement, and Kate's determination to address these issues, Coty Beauty is currently reviewing its relationship with her and will continue to do so."
Moss has lost three lucrative modeling contracts (H&M , Chanel, Burberry) since the drugs allegations surfaced and other fashion companies are threatening to follow suit.
The 31-year-old, the face of Rimmel's make-up brand aimed at teenage girls, has said that she took full responsibility for her actions and was taking "difficult" steps to address her "personal issues".
