Crackhead Moss needs help |
In the '90s, supermodel Kate Moss made heroin chic, even though she was never a confirmed user of the opiate. Now Moss is associated with another drug: cocaine. She was caught by cameras doing lines of coke last week and British newspaper, The Sun, says it's not her only vice. "Kate Moss is a regular user of deadly CRACK cocaine," the paper reported today, though it gave no further details on the allegation. No matter what serves as Kate's drug (or drugs) of choice, the model is clearly suffering from bad press lately. European clothing store, H&M has dropped Moss from their upcoming campaign and Chanel will not be renewing their contract with the model. CNN.com reports that Burberry has also ended their relationship with Moss and cosmetics firm Rimmel is considering the same, according to the Sun. A rep said, "Rimmel London is shocked and dismayed by the recent press allegations surrounding Kate Moss's behaviour. We are currently reviewing her contract." Meanwhile, Moss's friends and family are concerned for her well-being as well as her ailing career. The New York Daily News received a tip that Kate's mother has sought the help of some of her high profile friends: Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley and Sadie Frost, to help knock some sense into the model. John suffered from drug addiction himself and may serve as a good mentor for Moss.
