Super skinny Kate Moss publicly apologized to friends, family and business associates Thursday, a week after a British newspaper published photos of her allegedly snorting cocaine. Last week, British tabloid, Daily Mirror published pictures of the supermodel snorting cocaine with her boyfriend, rocker Pete Doherty, at a recording studio. European discount clothing store, H&M was the first to break the news that the pictures were, in fact, of Moss.
"I take full responsibility for my actions,
"I also accept that there are various personal issues that I need to address and have started taking the difficult, yet necessary, steps to resolve them."
Moss, who has a 2-year-old daughter, added: "I want to apologize to all of the people I have let down because of my behavior, which has reflected badly on my family, friends, co-workers, business associates and others."
Chanel also issued a statement Wednesday saying Moss's contract, which expires in October, would not be renewed. On Thursday a spokeswoman for the Rimmel cosmetic brand said the company was "shocked" by the reports and that its deal with Moss was "under review."
In July, Moss won substantial libel damages following claims by Britain's Sunday Mirror that she collapsed in a cocaine-fueled coma in Barcelona in 2001.
