British supermodel Kate Moss has checked into the $4,000-a-night Meadows Clinic in Phoenix, Ariz., for a month of "medical treatment and therapy," reports the Times of London.
Two weeks ago, The Mirror tabloid newspaper printed grainy pictures that apparently showed the 31-year-old supermodel snorting cocaine. As a result, Moss has lost several lucrative modeling contracts - with Burberry, Chanel and H&M, among them - and is currently under investigation by police.
Moss will reside at the clinic without her 2-year-old daughter, Lila Grace, says The Times, which reports that the move is part of Moss's attempt to start rebuilding her career.
Last Friday Moss issued a statement, saying: "I take full responsibility for my actions. I also accept that there are personal issues that I need to address and have started taking the difficult, yet necessary, steps to resolve them."
