Pregnant Pop Star, Britney Spears, says she has nothing but love for Singer Jessica Simpson.

According to reports Britney was being considered for the role of Daisy Duke, in The Dukes of Hazzard, until Jessica Simpson auditioned. Britney says that she was fated to be pregnant this year and so the part would have been incompatible with promotion duties reports Digital Spy

"Yeah [I was offered the role). Ashton Kutcher was supposed to be in it too. But things change and happen for a reason. That wasn't my time. I'm supposed to be pregnant now.

"And I'm proud of Jessica - she's doing really well."
