Simple Life Star Paris Hilton has been slammed by animal rights group, People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for reportedly dumping Tinkerbell because she grew too big. According to Internet Movie Database (WENN), Tinkerbell had grown beyond the 3.5 pounds supposed to be its ideal weight, prompting Hilton to allegedly leave the dog with her mother Kathy while she cares for a smaller Chihuahua named Bambi.
PETA spokesman said, "It's a pity that Paris' heart doesn't match her pocketbook. Animals shouldn't be disposed of like last season's trendy handbag."
