Anyone who has seen the cover of Mariah Carey's latest album, The Emancipation of Mimi, knows that the singer is deluded and vain. The image renders Mariah almost completely unrecognizable, leaving her looking more like a anorexic Beyonce than herself. She is dressed in a gold bodysuit and her body has been more airbrushed than Britney Spears's on her greatest hits CD. Mariah's natural figure is voluptuous and sexy, but she seems to wish she had Kate Moss's frame instead of her own. Gossip blog Gawker recently linked to another blog that claims Mariah's friends and employees have been contributing to her self-image delusions. The site says, "[Mariah's] entourage [has been] replacing her size 10 or 12 tags with size 6 tags." Mariah, don't you know that real women have curves? Embrace your hips and your booty.
