Lohan to direct music video |

Lindsay Lohan has always admired her idol Ann-Margaret because her redheaded predecessor was a triple threat - she could act, sing and dance. But in some ways it seems Lindsay is surpassing her heroine, both in popularity and ability. In fact, Lohan is about to become a quadruple threat, adding directing onto her resume. Yesterday we reported that Lindsay's next album will include a song about her rocky relationship with her father. More details have now been revealed about the tune and the video for it that she plans to direct. Because Lohan has "a greater understanding of the material" than any other director would, the head of her label (and Mariah Carey's ex-husband) Tommy Mottola suggested that she be the one to bring the story to the small screen. Mottola said, "Lindsay is one of the most talented, creative, and intuitive people I've ever met" and the ideas that she has for the clip are "absolutely incredible." No word on when the video will premiere, but with the hype already bubbling, it's likely to be a big hit.
