Kanye West talks to Blender |

Blender magazine has selected 28 year-old artist/composer Kanye West as the #1 pick for the 3 annual Blender 100. Kanye is in fine form for the Blender feature.
Kanye's immediate goals: "This is me trying to become more comfortable with the position I'm in. The last album was groundbreaking. Now the process is to strive for greatness."
"I won't put music out unless I can talk my shit," West says of his rep for generous self-appraisal. "I mean, how would you have Kanye come out and hold his head down? Are you serious? Kan-yay? The Ali of this shit?"
A look into how Kanye keeps up to date on his competition: "I TiVo rap videos so I can study them. To learn what steps to take to crush them all!"
Future plans: "I think I'm gonna move to London," "Get a fake-ass British accent like Madonna."
Another plan would be to pull a Michael Jordan (like baseball and golf) and try things he isn't so great at: "Yeah," nods West, "but the hard part is just trying to find something that I'm not good at."
