Pop Star Jessica Simpson is in London for the UK premiere of her movie The Dukes of Hazzard. The usually glamorous star appears to have left stylist, hair and makeup people in America. (see image)

The Dukes of Hazzard follows the adventures of cousins, Bo (Seann William Scott) and Luke (Johnny Knoxville) Duke, who with the help of their cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) and Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson), try and save the family farm from being destroyed by Hazzard County's commissioner Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds).

Simpson said she worked out for more than two hours a day, six days a week to prepare for the role.

"But there was definitely a robe on set that I put on after every take because I get shy about that kind of thing," she said.

"I grew up loving Daisy Duke," she added. "She was someone I idolized as a kid so to play her is a dream come true."

Next up for Simpson will be a comedy - Room Service.
