Days after Rapper Eminem canceled his European tour, citing "exhaustion" , his publicist has revealed that the rapper is being treated for drug dependency. According to reports Eminem AKA Marshall Mathers, is being treated for addiction to sleep medication.
The Anger Management 3 tour was due to take in the UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands. In a brief statement, publicist Dennis Dennehy said Eminem was "in the hospital under doctors' care" reports BBC. A publicist at the Universal Music Group label declined to give further details, including information about where and or for how long the rap star had been hospitalized.
Eminem had just completed a 23-date tour of the US when he announced he would no longer undertake his European commitments.
Last week, Eminem's aunt and uncle filed a suit against him. Betty and Jack Schmitt claim the rapper is trying to evict them from a house he built for them and isn't paying them a promised annual $100,000 stipend reports New York Daily news
