Rock Star Courtney Love was ordered to enter an in-patient substance abuse facility on Friday after the singer admitted to violating the terms of her probation by using drugs.
"I think that you need to hit rock bottom before you make a decision about what you're going to do in the future," Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Rand Rubin told Love, according to the Associated Press.
Love broke down as Judge Rand Rubin warned that he was prepared to send her to jail reports Reuters.
Rubin said the Courtney Love's lawyers persuaded him to give her one more chance to avoid incarceration by placing her immediately into a "chemical dependency center."
"I'm convinced that you need either a long-term (treatment) program or a long-term stay in the county jail," Rubin said.
After the order, the 41-year-old widow of Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain dashed without speaking to reporters. Love, wearing a brown jacket, patterned skirt and high-heeled boots, was told to enter a treatment facility by the end of the day. Her attorney, Howard Weitzman, wouldn't name the facility reports People Magazine
