Back in the 1980's, child star Corey Feldman achieved major stardom by acting together with Corey Haim in a run of coming-of-age films including one called "The Goonies." "Stand By Me" was another of their triumphant titles.
The two Coreys grew up; Haim is living with his Mom in Canada. But Feldman went the whole nine yards; he sued his parents, went to rehab and had a close friendship with Michael Jackson. His recent film work has been in squawking honkers such as "Bikini Bandits" and "Serial Killing 4 Dummies," and his appearance on "The Surreal Life," in which he proposed to a women to whom he had been engaged for six months, have not put him in a position to be likened to Einstein as a scientist nor even to Tom Cruise as an actor.
And yet, Corey Feldman loves the thought of being in 'The Wall,' a musical version of the Pink Floyd movie, rights to which have been acquired by Miramax and Thomas Mottola. Corey indeed loves the thought of being in 'The Wall,' the musical the way Tom Cruise loves Katie Holmes. Here's what he has to say. "I want to do rock operas. I would kill for the job of 'The Wall.' I would do anything. I would jump on the producer's desk naked. I would cut my chest with a razor blade." The Bosh suggestion to Corey Feldman; instead of doing any of that loco nonsense, study the script and then audition by giving an exciting reading of an outtake from it. (By Scott Rose)
