Julia Roberts to star in Broadway play

Random sightings aside, it's been quite a while since Julia Roberts has been in the lime light. She was unable to take part in the promotional appearances for last winter's Ocean's Twelve due to pregnancy complications and since giving birth, has managed to show her face at only one big event: The Oscars. With their Pretty Woman so absent from the public eye, Julia Roberts fans are likely to be going through withdrawal. Luckily, they'll be delighted to hear that she is planning on making her Broadway debut this spring. Beginning in March, Julia will star for twelve weeks in a revival of Three Days of Rain. When discussing her nervousness regarding the role, Roberts said, "the terror is part of the excitement". Her two male co-stars have not yet been cast. (By Kate Lanahan)
