The folks at Universal, Imagine Entertainment and Miramax are hoping that there's no such thing as bad publicity. That's because the star of their film, Cinderella Man is back to his old tricks. Early this morning, Russell Crowe was arrested in New York City for assault. Around 4:25 am, he allegedly threw a telephone at an employee at the Mercer Hotel where he was staying while he did publicity for Cinderella Man. The employee was treated for minor lacerations at St. Vincent's Hospital. Crowe will be arraigned later today in a Manhattan court. Cinderella Man was released this past Friday and had received many positive reviews despite finishing at only number four in the weekend box office. (By Kate Lanahan)
