Jolie denies canoodling with Pitt

Friday, Mr. & Mrs. Smith Star Angelina Jolie denied rumors that she had celebrated her birthday (June 4) with costar Brad Pitt at a secret location in New York. According to reports published last week Brad Pitt and Jolie were seen canoodling and eating food out of each other's mouths.

Jolie said she spent her birthday alone in her New York hotel suite reports xinhuanet.com.

"Apparently Brad forgot my birthday, despite all the hints I gave him," said Jolie. "I wasn't too happy about 'celebrating' by myself, watching a movie on HBO and ordering a salad from room service. If I'd had a gun, I'd have shot him."

During the entire time they were in New York to promote "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," Pitt and Jolie were not seen, much less interviewed, together.
