Security jitters struck the publishing world over the weekend when two men were arrested in England and accused of trying to sell a copy of J.K. Rowling's new novel. The Bosh isn't sure of the book's title, but there is some evidence that it is "Harry Potty and the Half-Blood Slut."

Of course, we understand why somebody in England was arrested for trying to sell "Potty," while the Prime Minister goes free, even though he helped cause a war by insisting that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

However that may be, on these shores, the president of children's publishing at Scholastic, Barbara Marcus, has said that 10.8 million of the new Potty books have been printed, that security is tight and that booksellers had better watch their asses. "They really know what their responsibility is," she affirmed, additionally saying that the threat of being blackballed for further deliveries helps to prevent infractions. We, meanwhile, wouldn't read this new Potty book for love or money, though persons making exceptionally generous offers shouldn't be discouraged. (By Scott Rose)
