Letourneau to wed student lover |

In news that is sure to both delight and disturb people the world over, Mary Kay Letourneau is to marry Vili Fualaau today. If you've been living in a hole for the last 9 nine years, you might be wondering "who the hell are Mary Kay and Vili?" Well, Mary Kay was a sixth grade teacher and Vili was her student. In 1996 they began an elicit relationship; he was 12, she was 34. At the time, Letourneau was married and had four children. Eventually she was sentenced to 7 1/2 years in jail for child rape. While in jail, she gave birth to her second child with Vili. Vili is now 22 and Mary Kay is 43. They have been engaged since last October. A friend of the family told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, "It's been long overdue. It's going to be fabulous, seeing them get hitched finally. ... They have gone through a lot. That they lasted this long proves how strong their love is." You can throw up now.
