Hilton was surrounded by cameramen the other night after returning to Claridge's. Her rep said, "Fifty photographers blocked our entrance. In the end, Paris had to sleep at Mohammed al-Fayed's daughter's house on Park Lane because she could not enter the hotel."

MTV: Music Television today announced the first ever "Live Leak" performance special to celebrate the latest release from acclaimed British rockers Coldplay. Premiering Sunday, June 5th at 8pm ET/PT, MTV's "Coldplay Live Leak" will feature the band as they debut their new album "X&Y" by performing live in MTV's Times Square studios. During the hour-long special, Coldplay will perform several new tracks from "X&Y" for the first time exclusively for the MTV audience. Just prior to the "Coldplay Live Leak," MTV News will present a half-hour Coldplay special at 7:30pm ET/PT featuring an in-depth interview with the band discussing the new album, a behind the scenes look as the band interacts with their diehard fans, and more. MTV2 will also air the "Coldplay Live Leak" special beginning the evening of June 5th at 12:30am. The performance will also be streamed for listening at MTV.com beginning June 8th.

The Washington Post said Tuesday that a former FBI official, W. Mark Felt, was the confidential source known as "Deep Throat" who provided the newspaper information that led to President Nixon's impeachment investigation and eventual resignation reports NYT
Felt, the second-in-command at the FBI in the early 1970s, kept his secret even from his family for almost three decades before confiding he was Post reporter Bob Woodward's source on the Watergate scandal, according to a Vanity Fair article published Tuesday.
"I'm the guy they used to call Deep Throat," W. Mark Felt was quoted as telling lawyer John D. O'Connor, author of the article for Vanity Fair.
According to the article, Felt once told his son, Mark Jr., that he did not believe being Deep Throat "was anything to be proud of. ... You (should) not leak information to anyone." More at NYT
