Your Chance To Protest An Asshole Priest
Today's New York Times carries a front page article on how Ken Hutcherson, pastor of the Antioch Bible Church in Redmond, Washington, pressured the Microsoft Corporation out of supporting a gay rights bill in the state of Washington. The bill, which lost by one vote, would have accorded homosexuals in all of Washington state protection against discrimination. In two meetings with Microsoft officials, the asshole Hutcherson threatened a national boycott of Microsoft products and urged that Microsoft employees who speak in favor of the bill be fired. The asshole Hutcherson is quoted in the article as saying of his meeting with Microsoft officials "I told them I was going to give them something to be afraid of Christians about."
